2 survive helicopter crash landing in Colo.
BROOMFIELD, Colo. (AP) – Two men aboard a small, two-seat helicopter survived a crash landing on a high school football field in Broomfield.
North Metro Fire Rescue spokeswoman Wendy Forbes told The Denver Post that the helicopter took off from Erie Municipal airport and reported mechanical trouble in the air Sunday afternoon.
The pilot managed to crash land on the field at Legacy High School.
Forbes says neither man was injured. There names were not immediately released.
