ADA ramp project begins Thursday in Fraser

Intersections in Fraser where the ADA ramp project work will be done starting this week.

The Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor KSK will begin work this week to bring existing curb ramps into compliance with the Public Rights of Way Accessibility Guidelines.

The project will be between Park Avenue and First Street along Zerex Street/US Highway 40. The work could begin as early as Thursday and will continue through late September.

The project will improve curb ramps, sections of adjacent sidewalks, curbs and gutters.

Intersections to be affected along Zerex Street/US 40 include Park Avenue, Fraser Avenue, Doc Susie Avenue, Byers Avenue, Old Victory Road, Mid Block, Eastom Avenue, Eisenhower Driver, First Street, County Roads 72 and 804 and Johns Drive.

Normal working hours will be 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
