After the war

It was an intergenerational meeting of warriors Sunday afternoon as veterans from the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam and the Cold War gathered at the Columbine Lake home of World War II veteran and infantryman Charles Truman Illsley. The younger veterans were in Grand County for the summer excursion of the Warrior Bonfire Program and relished the opportunity to hear some war stories from a member of the Greatest Generation.
