Ali Grayson will cap Music on the Mall concert series Friday
September 3, 2009
Singer-songwriter Ali Grayson will be playing Music On The Mall in the last concert of the series this summer.
“I can’t think of a better way to end the summer than with Ali,” said Marie Hedrick, marketing director at Cooper Creek Square. “She’s been an inspiration in keeping the music going during the summer to carry over from her Java Mic Nights at Fraser Rocky Mountain Roastery in the winter months.”
Grayson’s husband Brian and vocalist Sally Harrison will be sharing the stage with Ali on Friday.
“We are excited to share some new songs this year; songs of hope, freedom, beauty, pain, and love,” said Grayson, who has come out of the “musical closet” in recent years as a blooming young artist with a powerful, sweet voice and words that are both touching and inspiring.
Grayson’s first CD, “Just a Glimpse,” was recorded in Berkley, Calif., a couple years ago with three other Fraser Valley locals: husband Brian Grayson, Mike Haas, and Christian Purfield.
Full length CD number two is to be recorded with Brian in Nashville this November.
