The Alpenglow Camera Club will have its monthly meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. at the Granby Library. All members and those who would like to be members are welcome.

The new year has brought several changes to the club. Tim Carter has resigned as president and moved to Grand Junction. Gary Piper has taken over that job, but Carter, who was the driving force for starting the Alpenglow Camera Club, will be coming back to the February meeting. Let’s thank him for the outstanding job he did.

The club has a special speaker for the February meeting – Cole Thompson of Fort Collins. Thompson is a nationally known black and white photographer whose presentation is entitled, “Why Black & White?”

The club is asking for volunteers to help with a meeting or field trip. Below is a tentative schedule of meetings, topics and field trips planned for 2015. Please contact Gary Piper AlpenglowCameraClub@pobox.com if you can lend a hand or lead a meeting.
