The 11th annual Art and Architecture Home Tour is on tap for this Saturday, June 21.

The homes on the tour this year include an older home on Grand Lake, The Meyer House. The Meyer house was built in the classic Grand Lake-style with wide porches and a boat house. Log on the outside, the house has been partially renovated on the inside but the old-fashioned feel remains the same on the inside. You will be transported to this house via boat.

The second home on Grand Lake, the Gruber House, has a rock fireplace and outside, a rainbow bridge to the dock. This home is also accessed by boat.

The third house is on Shadow Mountain Lake, the Wilson House. It is brand new but built on the bones of an older house. The yard is charming with a lawn, big dock and a great view straight south to Byers Peak.

The fourth house on the tour is the Hauck House. This house is in town decorated in an eclectic style that is both old fashioned and modern.

The fifth house on the tour is the Block House, which is tucked away out of town on 38 acres in the Joslin Ranch development. This modern log home has amazing views of the Continental Divide and Lake Granby.

And the Bonus House, the Cranston House, is out of town by the National Forest. Decorated by the designer/ owner, this house has lots of charm.

One of the most anticipated dinners of the summer is the “Sixth House Dinner,” or the Soiree Elegance at the Kaplysh House. This amazing house is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by National Forest. On a multi-acre lot, this house is situated in a spectacular grove of aspen and has “acres” of deck. Charming on the inside and out and filled with fun and beautiful art. The Soiree Elegance features a multi-course dinner accompanied by unique wines. Tickets to this special event are priced at an additional $125 per person and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis (only 30 tickets available). Register early, as tickets will sell out quickly! Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails on the deck from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and watch the beautiful colors of the sunset. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.
