Article about Winter Park ski train kindled fond memories

To the Editor:That was a great article commemorating the ski train and the Eskimo Ski Club I appreciate your acknowledgment of the tireless work of Frank & Annie Bulkley, Tom Branch, the Eskimo Ski Club and the impact they have had on multiple generations of children. My mom and dad both grew up riding the train as Eskimos, and my dad has been an Eskimo instructor for about 40 years. Likewise, I grew up an Eskimo and even taught snowboarding one season when I was in Colorado for a year. The club is like an extended family to me. As you probably know, it’s run by a bunch of great people who choose to donate their weekends because they love skiing (and snowboarding), love kids and teaching, and care about each other. I don’t know of anything quite like it.Matt Duffy ChidleySherman Oaks, Calif.(formerly of Denver)
