Artist debuts work at area restaurant
Caroline’s Cuisine owner Jean Claude Cavalera has offered to let his friend and longtime local artist, Deb Treiber, display her work at the reastaurant near Grand Lake for the month of December.
Treiber, a Grand County resident since the ’70s, began her art career with macrame wall hangings for restaurants, one of which was used in a Paramount Pictures movie set. She also owned and operated a downtown Granby flower shop for 18 years.
After retiring from that endeavor, she took up painting, and the results are what are on display at Caroline’s Cuisine.
“I’m hoping that the public will enjoy the results of a very interesting journey,” Treiber said. “I’d venture to say you haven’t seen anything like this before.”
