Author Night at Westside 40

Join Westside 40 in Granby from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, for Author Night, a celebration of locally created arts in Grand County.

Meet some of the most accomplished writers in the county, including Patrick Brower, former longtime editor of Sky-Hi News and author of “Killdozer: The True Story of the Colorado Bulldozer Rampage,” William “Bill” Hamilton, nationally syndicated columnist and author of “The Wit and Wisdom of William Hamilton,” Martin J. Smith, award-winning journalist and editor, and author of “Combustion and Mr. Las Vegas Has a Bad Knee,” and Mister V, local cartoonist and creator of the comic strips “Them There Hills” and “Life is Grand.” In addition, take in local photography exhibits by Sarah R. Howe Photography and Stark Raving Mad Photography, and sample a variety of hand-crafted and French oak-aged vintages from Alapay Cellars Wines, provided by Vines and Views Wine Tasting.

An artisan marketplace, Westside 40 is located at the new Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center, 516 E Agate Ave, in Granby.
