Authorities rule fire at Glendale Sheepskin Factory arson
GLENDALE, Colo. (AP) – Authorities say a fire that destroyed the Sheepskin Factory in east Denver was intentionally set.
A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
Police say the fire that broke out early in the morning last week was suspicious from the start because of the intensity of the flames. Police also received a tip about the blaze.
A spokeswoman for the Skeepskin Factory estimates the company’s loss at $500,000. The company says it didn’t have insurance on the building.
The factory has re-opened at a temporary storefront. The business sells such items as sheepskin pet toys and sheepskin seat covers.
