The pass fully reopened at around 7 p.m. after CDOT crews cleared the snow.

A second small avalanche followed, at around 10 p.m., just east of the Robbers Roost Campground entrance on Highway 40. About 80 percent of the road was covered.

CDOT crews worked to remove the snow and the road reopened at around 10:30 p.m.
