Battle of the Bras raises breast cancer awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Jubilee Events, in partnership with the Middle Park Medical Center, is calling volunteer artists and creative crafters to decorate, bead and jewel women‘s bras for the Battle of the Bras competition to bring awareness of the importance of a yearly mammogram.

Visitors to can view and vote for their favorite creation beginning Oct. 5 through the end of October, plus earn a chance to win a gift basket of local merchandise. Donations can be made directly to Grand County Rural Health Network.

Get your glue, sequins and sewing machines ready because decorated bra entries must be submitted no later than Friday, Oct. 2. Call Jubilee Events to make arrangements for pick up and delivery of your entry.

The bras for the cause will be displayed at the PINK OUT luncheon in October, Middle Park Medical Center and Kremmling Memorial Hospital through the month of October. Special luncheon sponsorships are available for your business by calling Jubilee Events at 970-389-0818.
