Berthoud closes due to possible tanker spill

BERTHOUD PASS, 1 p.m. – Berthoud Pass may be closed a minimum of 2 to 3 hours due to an accident involving a tanker truck.

The tanker rolled against the walls on Berthoud Pass, according to Colorado Department of Transportation spokesperson Bob Wilson.

Initial reports are that the tanker may have been carrying gasoline, Wilson said, but that has yet to be confirmed.
