Berthoud Pass re-opens after CDOT triggers avalanche

CDOT triggered an avalanche on the east side of Berthoud Pass at mile marker 245 and 247 the morning of Thursday, Feb. 28, and consequently closed the pass to traffic until the snow had been cleared form the road.

Crews had snow cleared from the road by approximately 11:30 a.m.
