Berthoud Pass reopens following semi rollover cleanup

Berthoud Pass has been reopened Wednesday afternoon following a semi rollover that occurred earlier in the day.

At 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon officials from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office issued an update on social media announcing the recent reopening of US Highway 40 on Berthoud Pass.

The road was closed earlier in the day after a semi truck rollover incident occurred on near milepost 245, near the fifth switchback from the bottom of the pass in Clear Creek County.
