BOCC accepts Grand County budget
The Grand County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) unanimously moved to approve the final budget determination for 2017 at their November 15 meeting.
Commissioners Tollett and Manguso pointed out that the budget is balanced, and with an access.
The budget was adjusted slightly on November 1 after a rebuttal hearing from the Economic Development Department concerning a reduction in the Grand Enterprise Initiative budget. This increased the budget by $7,500 when the rebuttal was accepted by the BOCC.
The budget report is due to the State of Colorado on January 31, 2017.
