Bock Construction, Inc. Honored with Conservationist of the Year Award
Grand County, CO Colorado
Bock Construction, Inc. will be presented with the Conservationist of the Year award from the Middle Park Conservation District at the District’s Annual Dinner Meeting on Saturday, Feb. 23. The award is given each year to an outstanding conservationist and Bock Construction has been in the business of helping with on-the-ground conservation projects in both Grand and Summit Counties for many years. Lloyd Bock, the original owner of the business started in 1957. For the last 10 years, Tim Bock, Lloyd’s son, has been the owner and has run the business mostly in Grand County, doing excavation work, pond construction and land leveling projects.
The Conservation District is holding its annual meeting in conjunction with the Middle Park Stock Growers at the Moose Cafe in Kremmling. The public is invited to attend, even if you’re not a stock grower, for an evening of delicious food, western music, door prizes and socializing with neighbors and friends. A social hour starts the evening at 5:30. At 6:30, the Conservation District will present its annual report and the Conservationist of the Year award. Dinner begins shortly before 7 p.m. The cost is $38 a plate, for your choice of prime rib or salmon, and reservations must be made ahead of time by calling the District office at 724-3456.
