Boy Scouts to retire flags
Boy Scout Troops 104 and 605 will be holding a U.S. Flag Retirement Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. at the Polhamus Park Pavilion in Granby.
Everyone is invited to attend and participate in this special event involving the Boy Scouts in the Grand County area.
Retiring a flag involves a special ceremony. This ceremony will be implemented and explained to those who attend. The Scouts have accumulated a goodly number of flags to be decommissioned and each of the flags is to be retired individually
