The Grand Fire Protection District responded today at about 3:40 p.m. to a small residential fire on the 1,600 block of Mountain Sky Lane, behind City Market in Granby, according to Willa Moore of Grand Fire.

Three engines arrived at the scene, two from the Grand Fire Protection District and one from East Grand, along with units from Grand County EMS. The owner was in the house at the time, but did not report any injuries, according to Lt. Dan Mayer of the Grand County Sheriff’s Office.

Mayer also said the fire started in the house’s crawlspace, though officials have not yet determined a cause. The fire was contained by 4:40, about an hour after it was reported.
