An autopsy performed Wednesday on the body recently found in Breckenridge revealed it was Alphonse Michael Barbiere, the New Jersey resident who was last seen Feb. 8 leaving a Breckenridge bar.

The autopsy also revealed there was no trauma to the body, and there was no evidence of foul play. Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson said the death resulted from hypothermia due to exposure to the elements.

Toxicology results have not been completed, Richardson said, but they could retun by the end of next week.

Barbiere’s body was found behind the Stephen C. West ice arena at the south end of town on Saturday.
