Business workshops available throughout fall season

  

The Grand County Department of Economic Development has coordinated upcoming business seminars. All the workshops will take place at the (Granby Firehouse) Grand Fire Protection District conference room in Granby and are free to Grand County residents. Register at ColoradoSBDC.org.

So You Want to Start a Business in Grand County? 8:30-11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 10. Do you understand the nitty gritty of what it takes to start your business? This helpful seminar covers the necessary steps to successfully launch your business venture. Bring your questions about launching your business and meet others who are doing the same.



I Need Financing, What Now? 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 19



This workshop will assist you in knowing what the banks are looking for in a borrower, as well as introduce other financing options for your venture. You will learn what issues the banks are dealing with on their side of the table and how to approach those challenges. Find out what type of loans fit your situation and how they can be used with an emphasis on Small Business Administration (SBA) lending.

Receive tips and techniques that you can implement quickly as you re-energize (or implement) your new marketing & customer service endeavors. Final workshop of the 4 part FALL Grand County Bankers Workshops.

Jim Olp will explain and demonstrate how cash flow projections can be used to plan and balance your business budget. This is probably the most valuable tool you can use in planning and projecting for intelligent business decisions. These workshops are designed to give you freedom to make good choices.
