Devil’s Thumb names new GM

Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa recently named Douglas Libby as its new general manager. In addition to Devil’s Thumb Ranch, Libby will also oversee operations for sister properties and restaurants, Vasquez Creek Inn, Trailhead Inn, Volario’s and Caffé Giocondo.
Prior to coming to Devil’s Thumb Ranch, Libby served as general manager at Eldorado Hotel & Spa in Santa Fe, N.M. He has also held Director of Sales and Marketing positions for Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre in Texas, Carefree Resorts & Villas Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa in Arizona, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in San Francisco.
Libby was raised in Boulder and is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications with an emphasis on advertising and public relations. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
