Dr. Rebecca Wiebe to join MPMC surgical team

GRANBY — Dr. Rebecca Wiebe, M.D., of Surgical Specialists of Colorado, PC, will soon join the surgical team of Middle Park Medical Center in Granby.

Dr. Wiebe is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is also a member of the Colorado Medical Society, Southwestern Surgical Congress, American Society of Breast Surgeons and Denver Academy of Surgery.

She will begin seeing patients on Friday, Feb. 7 at Middle Park Medical Center in Granby, 1 000 Granby Park Drive South. She will serve patients with general surgical needs: breast pain and masses, abdominal wall and groin hernias, gastrointestinal problems such as gallbladder and hemorrhoid disease, thyroid masses, skin and s oft tissue masses. This will be a continuation of the general surgery work previously conducted by Dr. Edward Medina.



“We are excited to welcome Dr. Wiebe to the MPMC family and continue to provide high-quality surgical services to the residents of Grand County,” said MPMC Chief Executive Officer Cole White. “We thank Dr. Medina for his service and wish him well.

“We are ready to grow our surgical capabilities under Dr. Wiebe. We are doubling the amount of available surgery time and are working toward general surgery services five days a week by the end of 2014. This is an exciting time for Grand County, and we invite patients to begin scheduling appointments with Dr. Wiebe.”
