Granby Ace featured in a national commercial
Granby residents may recognize a familiar storefront when they see the latest Ace Hardware TV commercial airing this week. As part of Ace’s new advertising campaign, which features real-life Ace owners and customers, local Ace owner and Granby resident Amy Kaplanis will star in the retailer’s latest commercial spot, which promotes this Saturday’s national fundraising promotion benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
On Saturday, July 23, Ace customers who make a $5 donation to their local CMN Hospital at their neighborhood Ace will receive a five-gallon bucket, plus 20 percent off almost anything that fits inside. One hundred percent of the donations will benefit the local CMN Hospital — Children’s Hospital Colorado, in Granby’s case. According to Children’s Hospital Colorado, there were over 450 visits by Grand County kids to Children’s Hospital in 2015.
“It is an honor to represent Ace and our partnership with CMN in this TV commercial,” said Kaplanis. “At Country Ace, we’re committed to being the helpful place, and part of that is our commitment to giving back to the community we serve. We’re proud to play a small part in helping make miracles happen for children in need.”
In 2016 Country Ace Hardware has already doubled their donations from last year and hopes to double it again this year on behalf of the community. Last year the Rocky Mountain Ace Stores (RMAS), which Country Ace belongs to, raised over $120,000.
