Legacy becomes official Mendota Fireplace dealer

Sky-Hi News Staff Report

As the economy in Grand County gears back up, new construction and home remodeling projects are becoming more and more common.

To meet the needs of local consumers, Legacy Building Specialties of Granby has become an official dealer for the Mendota line of fireplaces. Along with being official dealers of Mendota Fireplaces, Legacy will also be installing the fireplaces and performing service and maintenance work.

Mendota Fireplaces are high-end luxury units. They are gas operated, either propane or natural gas. The units come in multiple styles with different options regarding the fireplace face materials and colors as well as different base materials for the interior of the fireplace. Legacy has three display models available for viewing at their store on U.S. Hwy 40 in Granby.

According to Karen Munro, who handles fireplace sales for Legacy, the Mendota lines of fireplaces are high efficiency heater rated. Legacy became an official Mendota dealer when they added the products to their current sales inventory in early April.
