Strands Salon named business of the month

Cahlie McCollum and Jen Cox are the owners of Strands Salon in Kremmling. They have been open since July 2014.
Mandy Villalobos joined in March, after graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Denver. Clientele are mostly locals, McCollum said. “Since we are by the hotel, visitors do come by.”
“Jen and I worked in Granby and we had so many clients from Kremmling so we started the salon. We are so happy that we have a location for people in Kremmling to come to.”
The salon is what McCollum described as “shabby-sheik” with old vanities, antique lights, and a vintage hair dryer. The owners decorated the salon themselves.
