Trestle Tool re-opens in new location Sept. 20
TABERNASH — A grand re-opening celebration for Trestle Tool featuring free food and drinks, Stihl Power Equipment product demos and site tours is set to take place Friday, Sept. 20, starting at 9 a.m. at the business’s new location, 72399 Highway 40 in Tabernash, next to Highland Lumber.
Trestle Tool specializes in small engine repair, fixing all types of machines ranging from lawnmowers to snowblowers, generators to compactors.
The company has been working with the Grand Enterprise Initiative and its Enterprise Facilitator Patrick Brower.
“We’re inviting the community to drop by our new location in Tabernash and enjoy some good times, food and drink,” says Chris Kulpa. Kulpa and Jon Smith, both of Tabernash, co-own and operate Trestle Tool. The two opened Trestle Tool in late 2011 and have seen their business grow in its first two years.
The new Tabernash facility offers expanded space for the tool and small engine repair shop, additional storage and a showroom for Stihl Power Equipment and other product lines the business carries and services. Trestle Tool is also the only authorized dealer and repair center for commercial and residential Oreck vacuum cleaners for the Grand County area.
“We enjoy the larger shop space and the more central location that allows us to better serve all of East Grand County,” says Jon Smith. The shop also does tool repair, blade and chainsaw sharpening, an provides replacement parts and services all brands of vacuum cleaners.
