Crossing Berthoud Pass in the winter can be a pain, especially when you’re quarry is as trivial as a pair of new shoes.

Ordering a pair online only to find the fit isn’t quite right doesn’t seem much better.

Luckily, The Local Experience in Winter Park has you covered.

Billed as Grand County’s only shoe store, Local Experience is offering a few new products and services this winter.

One of the business’s new services is its snow boot rental program, which outfits customers with burly pair of winter boots for $15 a day.
