C Lazy U Ranch featured in UK travel magazine
A U.K. travel writer visited C Lazy U Ranch in Granby last year to write a winter story about ranch vacations in Colorado.
The story was published in November’s Conde Nast Traveler magazine and distributed in the U.K. According to general manager Connie Dorsey, the phones usually ring a little bit more after stories are written. He oversees operations at the ranch from the 170 horses to the haying program.
The two-page story includes photos of brothers Paul and Tyler Klees on horses. Paul Klees is the assistant director of operations and Tyler is a wrangler. Both work year round at the ranch.
In the winter, C Lazy U has a ski program that offers guests cat skiing on Mount Baldy, their private ski mountain. Other winter activities include sledding, tubing, snowmobiling, horseback rides, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
