California train crash did not involve Amtrak
To the Editor:
The column by Pastor Doug Toller entitled “Faith Matters: Can anyone be trusted?” erroneously refers to the engineer in last September’s tragic California train crash as being “the Amtrak train engineer.”
To set the record straight, the train was a Metrolink Commuter train operated by Veolia Transportation, with no Amtrak affiliation.
