Candidate forum scheduled in Hot Sulphur Springs, March 8
A Hot Sulphur Springs candidate forum will be held on March 8 at town hall at 513 Aspen Street, Hot Sulphur Springs, for candidates running for office of town trustee. The forum will start at 6:30 p.m. Each candidate will plan a 2-3 minute introduction of themselves, and the moderator will have two to four questions that each candidate will receive prior to March 8. There will be time at the end for the moderator and public to ask more questions.

Report: Snowmobile pinned man killed in Rollins Pass avalanche
The man who died in Grand County’s most recent fatal avalanche asphyxiated after being pinned by his snowmobile on Mt. Epworth outside Winter Park, according to the final report from the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.
