Candidates convene in Kremmling on Friday

For those still on the fence about who to vote for in the 2012 Grand County commissioner race, or for those with questions for the candidates, this Friday offers a chance to set the record straight.On Friday, Oct. 12, at 6:30 p.m. the Kremmling Rotary Club is hosting a Meet the Candidates night. The event will be held in Kremmling, in “The Square” building on the corner of Central Avenue and Third Street. All four County Commissioner candidates – Chas McConnell, James Newberry, Robb Rankin and Merrit S. Linke – have said they will come. The event will start with an introduction from each candidate, and a brief statement of the reason they are running for the position. The format of the evening is Q&A (question and answer) and will be moderated by Kremmling Rotary Club President Rich Rosene. The event is public.
