Carl R. Sanger passes away

Carl R. Sanger, 79, of Kremmling, passed away Sept. 12, 2010, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Carl, born Jan. 9, 1931, in Denver, grew up with his two brothers and parents up Turkey Creek Canyon near Morrison, Colo.

Carl is survived by his sons, Kyle (and wife Stacy) Sanger, Kevin (and wife Shawn) Sanger; grandchildren Kayle, Kody, Dylan, Brandon; and great grandchild Aubrey. He is also survived by his brother Bob (and wife Ann) Sanger.

Carl dedicated his life to ranching, the outdoors, honesty and touching the lives of his family and many friends. In his later years he was an avid golfer. Carl will be remembered for many things, his giving soul, roping a buck from his trusted horse “Snip,” his toughness, giving encouragement when needed and always being there for someone else. Carl lives on in the lives of others as he was truly a father to all.

A celebration of life is scheduled for Sept. 26, 2010, at 2 p.m. at the Gore Range Baptist Church, 1117 Jackson Ave. In lieu of flowers, please watch a sunset or plant a tree in the name of Carl R. Sanger.
