Chili Cook-Off benefits Kremmling Preschool

Organizers of the 3rd annual Rosie O’Hotto Chili Cook-Off in Kremmling are seeking chefs for the benefit for Kremmling Preschool.

For those willing to put their recipes to the test, prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories: green chili, red chili, white chili and other. And a grand prize will be awarded to the chili voted “Best Overall.” Entry fee is $5 per crockpot of chili, and contestants may enter in multiple categories. Judging is voter’s choice, so those willing to heat up their palates pay a $5 fee to sample and vote.

Judging takes place at 10:30 a.m. on event day, Aug. 6, at the Middle Park Fair and Rodeo Kremmling Fairgrounds. Chili cooks should drop off their creations from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. hour preceding the judging. For more information, contact the Kremmling Preschool at 970-724-9483.
