Christmas Train needs helpers, monetary support

Sky-Hi News Staff Report

The Christmas Train will be built in the empty store unit next to Subway at City Market Complex in Granby this year.

“The space is huge – 72’ X 45’”, said Dave Naples, President of the Grand County Model Railroad Club.

They are in the space now and need monetary and helper support to build their biggest train layout ever.

Work schedule is every Monday through Thursday 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The group is asking for help from all skill levels: carpenters, artists, electricians, cleaning crew, model makers and train enthusiasts.
