Colleen Rae (Boettler) Kearney:
Memorial services were held for Colleen Boettler Kearney on Friday, April 4, 2008, at Assumption Cemetery in Simi Valley, Calif. She passed away in Simi Valley on March 27 at the age of 64.
Colleen Rae Boettler was born in Grand Junction on Feb. 21, 1944. She was the first born daughter of Alva and Kathleen Boettler, formerly of Granby and then of Lake Havasu City, Ariz. They preceded her in death in 19996 and 1999 respectively.
Colleen grew up in Granby and was a 1962 graduate of Middle Park High School.
She is survived by her daughter, Subhadra Abiad (and husband Tony), her sons, Nitai and Nimai Kearney (all residents of Southern California), her sisters, Sue Ann Rovner of Portland, Ore. and Bonnie Johansmeier of Bennett, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
