Colo. lawmakers waiting for economic forecast

DENVER (AP) – Colorado lawmakers are hoping for good news when state budget officials release their latest economic forecasts.
The forecasts will be released Friday morning.
Previous forecasts show the state in a $560 million budget shortfall this fiscal year. A budget shortfall of $1 billion is predicted for next year.
The fiscal year ends in June.
