Colorado Enterprise Zone program

Sky-Hi News Staff Report

Grand County Economic Development is presenting an informational workshop on the Colorado Enterprise Zone program on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the BOCC Boardroom, 306 Byers, Hot Sulphur Springs. The event will feature a presentation by representatives of the Associated Governments of Northwest Colorado, which administers the Enterprise Zone program for the Northwest Colorado region, including Grand County.

“This is a great opportunity for area businesses to learn about the State income tax incentives available for eligible business activities within the Enterprise Zone,” commented AGNC Executive Director Bonnie Petersen. “There is also a contribution tax credit available for qualifying non-profit projects.”

The event is free.
