Colorado House approves marijuana bill
DENVER (AP) – The Colorado House of Representatives has approved and sent to the Senate a bill that would allow the state to license marijuana dispensaries, growers and people who make snacks with cannabis.
Dispensary owners would also have to undergo criminal background checks that would bar anyone with a drug felony.
The bill passed 39-23 with bipartisan support.
