Colorado Master Gardener Class Jan. 26

CSU extension in Grand County and the Grand Community Garden are hosting a Colorado Master Gardener Class Starting Jan. 26. The classes will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday starting Jan. 26, 2012, until April 5. The Class will be held at the Grand Park Community Recreation Center, Fraser. The instructors are CSU staff from around the state and the course will be delivered via computer through distance learning. Classes will cover: plant growth, fertilizers and soil amendments, plant pathology, entomology, mountain gardening, herbaceous plants, landscape design,lawn care, science of tree planting, weed management, vegetables and small fruits. Applications received after Thursday, Jan. 12 may be subject to a late registration fee.
