Community Resource Forum scheduled for Sept. 11 in Granby Soccer Dome

The NorthWest Colorado Center for Independence (NWCCI) is conducting the 2nd Annual Grand County 911 Community Resource Forum on Friday, Sept. 11, from 12:30-5:30 p.m. at the Granby Soccer Dome, 197 W. Diamond Ave.
Many agencies participated last year, including Grand County EMS, community resource agencies, Granby Police, Grand County Social Services, Public Health, the Grand County Sheriff’s Office and area fire departments.
This year, five panels will discuss and address new and existing services available in Grand County communities. The theme for the event is “Freedom from Isolation”.
NWCCI serves people with disabilities and seniors to live well and independently in the community of one’s choice.
Possible panel topics may include:
• Access to Services
• Public Safety
• New Services
• Employment Services
• Transportation
The event is free and includes appetizers and give-aways.
