Help a Child, Improve Your Community

Mentors In Life Enrichment (MILE) is a one-to-one community mentoring program for youth ages 10-17 within Grand County. You could make a difference in a young person’s life by spending two hours a week with him or her. “When a young person bonds to a pro-social adult outside the family a developmental asset is created,” Aneloski explains. “The more developmental assets youth possess, the less likely they are to engage in risky behavior and the more likely they are to do well in school.” Several youth in our community could use your help right now. To become a mentor contact Ian Aneloski, Grand County Juvenile Services, at 970-531-7291.
