Congressional candidate George Leing to visit Granby

Sky-Hi News staff report

GRANBY — George Leing will conduct a town hall meeting at the Granby Library on Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. There will be a formal town hall as well as an informal meet and greet and a chance for attendees to talk to Leing one-on-one.

Leing, who is challenging U.S. Rep. Jared Polis for his Second District seat, will give a brief presentation about his background, his positions on issues facing the United States, and why he is running for office. Then, he will open up the forum for questions from the audience.

“I want to be a representative for every part of this district, and I look forward to hearing the concerns and issues of the people of Granby and Grand County,” Leing said. “They deserve to have an advocate in Washington who will be their voice, and I would be honored to be that voice.”

Leing has a 30-year career working as a business negotiator for corporations and businesses.
