The right lane of U.S. Highway 40’s Berthoud Pass has reopened following a crash that occurred around 2 p.m. Friday and caused a closure.

A single vehicle rollover that struck a secondary vehicle was reported at 2:02 p.m., according to the Colorado State Patrol Public Affairs Office. No injuries have been reported so far.
The right lane of U.S. Highway 40’s Berthoud Pass is currently closed due to a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The latest update posted to CoTrip.org at 3:54 p.m. writes that the crash occurred five miles west of Empire at mile point 250.7. The closure impacts U.S. 40 westbound between Guanella Street and Henderson Mine Road, according to CoTrip.org.
A winter weather advisory is currently in effect for the area and travel conditions are slick in the mountain corridors due to snow and ice.
