CSU gets $2.75M water-study grant

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) – Colorado State University has been awarded $2.75 million for a new graduate research program into water and ecology.

The five-year grant will train as many as 30 doctoral students to look at water and climate change.

The money comes from the National Science Foundation.



Engineering professor Jorge Ramirez tells the (Fort Collins) Coloradoan that much of the research is aimed coming up with better ecosystem planning in the future. The research begins in fall of 2011.
