Deadline approaching for primary registration

In order to vote in the Primary Election on June 24, one must be affiliated with a major political party (American Constitution Party, Democratic Party, or Republican Party) OR withdraw ones affiliation and be registered as “unaffiliated” no later than May 23.

On June 2, ballots will be mailed to all active voters who are registered with a major political party. Any voter who is registered as “unaffiliated” must declare a party affiliation at the time he/she requests a ballot. Ballots can be mailed to voters through June 17.

In-person voting and ballot pick-up is available at the Grand County Administration Building, 308 Byers Avenue, Hot Sulphur Springs, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 2 through June 23; Saturday, June 21 from 8 a.m. to noon; and Tuesday June 24 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
