Denver asks public for help in identifying body

DENVER (AP) – Police say a body discovered by two teens near a city park is that of a white or Hispanic male between 15 and 30 years old.

Denver police are asking the public’s help in identifying the body. Police Sunday described the person as having a slight build, with brown hair, possibly brown eyes with a sparse moustache and goatee. There were no identifying scars, tattoos or piercings, and the person had natural teeth with no obvious fillings or crowns.

The medical examiner’s office performed an autopsy Saturday. A cause and manner of death is pending.

Police told The Denver Post that the teens discovered the body on waste management property and went to a nearby apartment complex to get friends and show them the body before notifying authorities.
