Denver Health will hold an open house at its new Alpine Clinic in Fraser on Monday, Nov. 16.

Healthcare providers Lance Maloney, MS, OTR, CHT, and Valerie Rzepka, PT, DPT, will be available to meet members of the public from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the clinic, located at 280 Zerex St.

The clinic will initially provide physical and occupational therapy services though more services may be added in the future, said Betty Rueda with Denver Health.

Maloney, who previously worked in Denver Health’s Orthopedic Clinic in Denver, will provide occupational therapy services at the clinic, while Rzepka will provide physical therapy services.

Aja Harding of Denver Health’s East Grand Community Clinic at Winter Park Resort will take over as office manager at the new clinic.

Though originally slated to open on Nov. 16, the clinic is waiting to acquire one last piece of equipment before it begins accepting appointments, Rueda said.

Denver Health is also in talks with Lori Myers, former owner and director of Alpine Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, PC, to have Myers occasionally staff the clinic, Rueda said.

Denver Health’s Alpine Clinic can be reached at 970-722-1060.
