Downtown Granby Main Street hosting Resource Team
The Colorado Main Street Program is a statewide program administered by the
Downtown Colorado, Inc., empowering communities to revitalize traditional business
districts in Colorado. The Main Street Program is partially funded by a State Historical Fund grant from the Colorado Historical Society. This revitalization process is based on a four-point
approach to historic preservation: Organization, design, promotion and economic restructuring.
What is a Resource Team Visit?
The resource team, which will be in downtown Granby on Nov. 7-9, includes DOLA’s Main Street coordinator and Main Street specialist and up to three resource specialists. The team creates the opportunity for insight and expertise from Main Street specialists and for the community to see itself through outside eyes. It provides recommendations and a report that will act as a road map for the future.
As a team, resource members shape observations into a comprehensive vision for downtown.
