The Fraser-Winter Park Police Department is asking the public’s help in finding a suspect involved in last week’s burglary of a local real estate office.

On the morning of Sunday, July 6, police officers responded to a report of a commercial burglary at the Coldwell Banker Mountain Properties real estate office located at 78902 Main Street in downtown Winter Park.

The Coldwell Banker staff told the investigating officers that the burglary must have occurred sometime during the evening of Saturday, July 5 or the early morning hours of Sunday, July 6. Several pieces of electronic and other office-related equipment were stolen.

According to a press release by Commander Brett Schroetlin, the police department’s officers found a witness who reported seeing a suspicious person “loitering around the business during the early morning hours of July 6th.”

The description of the suspicious person, provided by the witness, is of a white male, about 40 to 50 years of age, muscular build, and possibly brown hair. He was seen wearing a dark shirt and khaki pants.

Anyone recognizing the man in the sketch or who may have further information bout the burglary is asked to contact Detective Amy Zacek Smith of the Fraser-Winter Park Police Department at (970) 722-7779.
